About

Karri York, soprano, has performed numerous recitals, operatic and musical theatre roles.  She has had intense and extensive training in the area of voice, and has been teaching at all age levels since 1989.  She has served on the voice faculties at Ball State University and Butler University, and performs regularly as a singer, a masterclass clinician, and a harpist.  While her foundation to singing has been based on classical and operatic training, her voice students sing a variety of styles such as Classical, Musical Theatre, Jazz, and Contemporary Christian.  All lessons not only aspire to support the student’s musical goals, but to also offer a healthy and musical approach to singing so success is achieved.  Dr. York’s current and former students are professionally teaching and performing throughout the United States and abroad.


Dr. York is available for vocal master classes, recitals, and presentations.  She is also available to sing or play the harp for weddings, funeral services, banquets, and more.  She is currently pursuing a harp therapy certificate as a Clinical Musician Practitioner through Harp for Healing, LLC.  Please contact for rates and availability.

Biography
